How I handle your personal data

Who is responsible for your data

I am Amit Jagdish Shah, a MahaRERA-registered real estate agent (Reg. No. A51900000415). For the purposes of the Act, I am the data fiduciary for the personal data collected on amitjshah.com. Contact: info@amitjshah.com, +91 98207 33166.

What I collect

  • What you type into a form: name, mobile number, country code, budget band, preferred areas, configuration, purpose and timeline.
  • Technical details sent by your browser: pages visited, the link that brought you here, UTM tags and advertising click IDs, and which call, WhatsApp or form buttons you use, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser type.
  • Messages you send me on WhatsApp after you contact me.

I do not ask for identity documents, bank details or income on this website.

Why I collect it

  • To reply to your property requirement by call, SMS or WhatsApp. This is the purpose you consent to when you tick the box on a form.
  • To share your requirement with a developer, only for the project you asked about, so they can send a cost sheet or confirm availability.
  • To understand which pages and ads bring people here, so I can improve the site.

I do not sell your data and I do not add you to newsletters you did not ask for.

Who I share it with

These are the processors that handle data on my behalf:

  • Website hosting: Hostinger. Email: Google Workspace
  • The JAM Studio, which manages this website and its campaigns, and team members who help me respond to enquiries
  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), when you choose to message me there
  • Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta and Microsoft Clarity for analytics and advertising measurement, with form fields masked in Clarity
  • The developer of a project, only when you ask about that project

How long I keep it

I keep your brief for as long as you are looking for a home with me and for 12 months after our last contact, unless the law requires me to keep records of a transaction for longer. You can ask me to delete it sooner.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses a consent banner. Analytics and advertising cookies load only after you accept them. Necessary cookies, such as the one that remembers your consent choice, load regardless. You can change your choice at any time from the link in the footer.

Your rights

  • Access: ask me what personal data I hold about you.
  • Correction: ask me to fix anything that is wrong.
  • Erasure: ask me to delete your data.
  • Withdrawal of consent: tell me to stop contacting you, at any time, by replying "STOP" on WhatsApp or writing to the contact below.
  • Grievance: raise a complaint with me first, and then with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.
